2. Chocolate Truffle Tartlets

This is the first time we have ever used tartlet pans, and they worked out wonderfully! We have also never used biscotti in a recipe, but we enjoy working with new things. Our new mixer helped a lot and we are glad we bought it! -AJ

Our new mixer worked very well. We’ll always have our hand mixer in our hearts, though. Haha, just kidding, we’re still going to use it, but for smaller things like meringue and stuff. The tartlets had a nice texture and also tasted very good. We had a lot of fun making it together. -Barney

The three of us are having fun! And my husband is enjoying the fruits of our labors. Looking forward to the next TWD challenge. Deborah

  1. It is great to find a use for those tartlet pans, isn’t it?! Mine had their maiden voyage too — picked them up at a garage sale I-dont-know-how-many years ago – boy, were they happy to get out of the cookie cutter box and play. 🙂

    1. Haha yes it was fun to use them together. 😊 We got a little confused on why to take the bottoms out at first, but we understand now. I’m glad you finally got to use yours. 😉

    1. Yeah it was really fun and a great bonding experience for all of us. I’m sure that they will be very excited to help you. 😝 Thank you for posting and letting us know what you think.

  2. This was the first time I used tartlet pans as well. It was fun and I didn’t think too hard. How fun for all of you to be baking together! 🙂

    1. Hi Kim! Yes, it was very fun to do together. Your tartlets looked very good. We also used chocolate chips instead of bars. We don’t have a food processor (yet) so we just chopped up our butter and put it all in our blender. It worked very well.Thank you for keeping up with us. We look forward to seeing how you do your recipes differently. 🙂

  3. I love the picture of everyone working together 🙂
Now that my girls are almost adults, all the time we spent together in the kitchen pays off!
