Back home and trying to catch up with lectures, grading, and life. This recipe was a treat! Had to substitute coffee creamer for milk and it still turned out beautifully and so yummy! Instead of using candied orange peel, we used dried mangos. It is a different taste, but works well with the figs, raisins, and chocolate. We added some sugar and it went well with the dough after baking the cookies.-AJ I love these cookies! I like how the filling tastes all together. Enjoyed making the dough yesterday. Made the sweet treat for dessert tonight. Glad to be back in school and back in the kitchen. Just used one third of the dough tonight.
